Took mom away from there after 70 days of living there..I would never send here back or refer anyone. Besides having to tip staff $$ to watch over my mom ,they never answer the phone on weekends or be around on weekends, it was like when we first got their [name removed] was so nice an hands on,then it slowly changed to her saying I need to speak to [name removed] if I had a problem..they have a woman [name removed] I think it was her name,she was in charge of giving out hair cuts an do nails...she only took cash o…

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I was impressed to see the level of knowledge that nurses and caregivers have dealing with residents with dementia and some with behaviors. I know it's a hard job. But it's good to see that our loved ones are treated well. Areas are well lit and clean. I was there during lunch and the meal looked and smelled great. Activities after lunch are usually the larger ones, but I always enjoy sitting with them during it.

Neighborly Care

My mom has been at The Gardens for about two months. She has been well taken care of and has made new friends. She has a nice clean room and is served good meals. She has adjusted very well to her new place. She is surrounded by people that care.

Would Not Recommend

My mother had not one, but two, ambulance rides in the first week. The second one resulting in a partial hip replacement. She was a known fall risk. They took no additional steps after the first fall to prevent the 2nd one.. My father removed her from that facility. $[fee removed] to only land my mother back in the hospital. They ARE NOT a higher level of care facility. Would not recommend.

Memory Care with heart

The staff at this facility truly cares for the residents, treating them with dignity and respect. Many of the caregivers have been with the community for 4-6 years, which speaks to the consistency and dedication of the team. The Engagement Director organizes activities that give residents a sense of accomplishment. For example, I’ve seen residents take pride in participating in trivia games that tap into their long-term memory or in word games they can easily engage with.
