I have prayed that this would be a good facility for my sister’s memory care, and God answered my prayers. In the last nine months, my sister has declined, I would say, 90%. It is so sad, but I do believe she is in a good place now and is being taken good care of. The price at Shady Gardens is affordable. I'd give 5 stars. Room size is a little small but perfect for the need. Quality of care is excellent. PT/OT on site. Low to zero staff turnover in about 10 months. Each staff member seems to know each resident and their family. Plenty of activities and mostly good food (I'm just too choosy). Each resident is serve meals in a nice dining area as if it were a restaurant. Very clean facility. Pipes froze on my mother's wing last December. The staff there are wonderful. They are very helpful, supportive and friendly. My mom loves her space and so do my sister and I. It's just the right amount of space for her. We know that she's safe but my mom still feels like she has some independence.
