PositiveGSSL has been such a blessing to our family member. The staff go above and beyond making sure that a home atmosphere permeates its environment. Family style meals are cooked in the kitchen and placed at each persons place around the long family-like table that looks out into the backyard where the residents will see deer, birds feeding at a feeder, and hummingbirds seeking nectar from a feeder. The staff delivers care to each resident as though they are their own family member. The staff are cognizant of each resid…

PositiveWe love the home atmosphere, the care exhibited by the staff, the food cooked in the kitchen where they gather to eat, unlike an institutional setting, the openness by the owner, [name removed], to talk with you and resolve issues if they arise. We like the fact that there is a geriatrics physician that see patients on site, as well as wound specialists, PT, OT, and nursing. It's been a God-send for us!

PositiveThis is a large house converted into a nursing/ assisted living home. Very personal. Very rural. Their staff very hands on. Everyone eats whatever is cooked for the night. No variety. You eat whatever they fix. Most residents have dementia of some type. I hired a personal assistant to my mother, that frequently checked on mom. Had one instance of contracted PT person not doing her job. It was not the fault of the facility. Otherwise, I was satisfied with the care my mom received there mid-July thru December 2024, b…

PositiveWe toured this facility and it is set out in the country. Beautiful grounds This is a ranch home so no stairs, it was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The residents were having dinner when we were there and the food looked wonderful

PositiveI love the park like setting for my 92 year old MIL and intimate, boutique feel of the small care facility. The staff is attentive and always greets her with warmth and compassion each morning or at shift change.

PositiveFrom the moment we first walked through the doors of Great Souther, we knew it was something special. The warmth, care, and professionalism of the staff were immediately evident, and that first impression has only been reinforced time and time again. The level of attention and compassion shown to each resident is remarkable. The staff goes above and beyond not just to meet daily needs, but to make residents feel seen, heard, and truly at home. Whether it’s remembering a favorite snack, taking time for a friendly c…
