CriticalThe staff changed more than I wish. My husband needed more care so it was always hard getting two who could help clean him up or shower. I am guessing they don't pay staff what they are worth! The food was pretty good most of the time. They have a new chef now . They needed more help a lot of the time. David couldn't really participate in activities. It was expensive and his care went up$[removed] a month and his care was not better than before. All in all I am glad he was only there 5 months. We loved several of …

We’re glad to hear you connected with several of our staff members and appreciated the food, but we’re also very sorry to learn of your concerns regarding staffing consistency, care levels, and communication around costs. Your feedback is important and will be reviewed by our leadership team as we continue to improve. We truly appreciate the trust you placed in us during your husband’s time here.

PositiveThey were very nice and helpful. [name removed] and her mom weren't there long, but [name removed] and the staff were thoughtful and caring in a very hard time.
Response from the communityThank you for sharing your kind words. We’re so glad our team could provide care and support during such a difficult time, even if the stay was brief. Your feedback means a great deal to us.

CriticalThey're short staffed on med techs. All their upper management left at the same time. We left because they messed up my FIL's glaucoma eye drops so bad he had to have surgery. (They quit giving one of them completely). The food is ridiculous! They give 1/2 sandwiches and call it a meal. I wouldn't recommend until they get their act together.
Response from the communityThank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience and the challenges your family faced. This is not the standard of care we strive to provide, and we take your concerns seriously. Your input helps us identify where we need to improve, and we’re actively working to address staffing and service issues. If you’d be open to discussing this further, please feel free to contact us at 678-498-5375.

PositiveIt's a very nice community, however, my husband was kidnapped from the facility by my step children even though it was in his file that he was not to leave the grounds with them. So if that is an issue with families that disagree about placement this is not the best placement. There is someone at the front desk, but they don't necessarily monitor resident visitors and follow family wishes.
Response from the communityThank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to hear about this difficult situation. The safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority, and we take concerns like this very seriously. While we strive to respect each family's wishes and follow all directives in a resident’s file, we recognize there may be times when communication or enforcement falls short. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand what occurred and to ensure steps are taken to prevent similar issues in the future. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at (470) 516-5248 at your earliest convenience.

CriticalAs a medical professional, I would not recommend this facility as it was with the staff at the time my dad was living there. They need to Hire quality staff that has the education necessary to help. Have therapy on staff.

PositiveAfter reviewing we would give items 1-7 all 5's. #8 is a 4. Care plan pay scale is not consistent with actual changes in care provided. Dad just had his 1 year anniversary at the facility. 8 months in assisted living and last 4 months in memory care., Staff does a very good job of getting to know the residents, understanding their needs/wants and personalities. The fact that they are affiliated with the Emory IMC (Integrated Memory Care) sets them far above other facilities when seeking care for a loved one with …
Response from the communityThank you for your kind words and for trusting us with your dad’s care. We’re so glad he’s felt supported in both assisted living and memory care, and we truly value our partnership with Emory IMC. We also appreciate your feedback on the care plan pay scale and will take it into consideration as we work to improve.
