PositiveThe site is not perfect but they try. Sadly, there have bern instances where the staff (some, not all) has not met my expectations: some (not all) have yelled at my grandmother when she was unable to dress herself, removed and not returned items from her apartment that I purchased for her, were inconsistent in their expectations for her. She was diagnosed as having dementia yet at times they expect her to perform as if she does not. There are many who have done wonderful in supporting my grandmom. I am grateful for…

Positive5 in all areas for Lafayette. My aunt is THRILLED with her new apartment. The staff go over and above with everyone and everything. The food is well prepared. The room is not a room but a 3 room plus bathroom apartment. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bath.

The other facilities appeared to have dorm like or nursing room like settings or they were described as dark. I chose this facility because of its proximity to my home and because of the consistent responsiveness of the staff. Also, some facilities reduced my grandmother to her income, this facility addressed her as a person.
