PositiveI am grateful for the attentive care my wife is provided. It is a great relief knowing her medicines are administered properly and on time. The staff does their best to make her feel at home and cared for. It is good to know she is respected and cared for at all times.

PositiveWhen searching for the right place for our loved one, we visited several communities-but the moment we stepped into Mercy House, both in Temple and Georgetown, we felt an overwhelming sense of peace. These homes are warm, inviting,& truly feel like a family environment. The smaller, intimate setting allows for more personalized care&genuine connections between staff, residents & their families. In Georgetown the set up is private studio-type apartments&private bathrooms; &in Temple, the set up is truly like any Mid…

PositiveIn general the overall staff is good. There are certain caregivers that only do bare minimum and others that really exceed expectations. What constitutes bare minimum: feeding times, med times, showering, sleep times. Staff that exceeds expectations takes the personal care in cleaning, shaving and showering our loved ones (You can tell because when you visit it shows how clean and refreshing they are)They care enough to ensure restroom breaks are frequent enough where there are no inappropriate urination on floors.…

PositiveThey were small. Had private rooms, and able to manage insulin administration for diabetics. The experience is good.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff was easy to work with and treated the residents with respect. The facility was kept clean and neat. My questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The move in process went very smoothly. Although I never ate any food there, my wife was not a fan, but that may be attributed to her illness. Mercy House staff performed in a professional and supportive manner when my wife passed.
★★★★★
PositiveI think they do a good job and residents seem peaceful there. I picked Mercy House because they gave insulin injection where the others did not. I would recommend others.
Response from the communityWe're so grateful that you took the time to evaluate us! You'll be very happy to know that we have stepped up our "Activities" game (no pun intended!) AND our food is no longer coming from the Caterer we had been using! Your comments let us know that we are improving the "right things". Our Staff is now responsible for the preparation of meals and we have some mighty fine cooks!! Thanks again for entrusting us with the care of your very special loved one!
