My place for Mom

I found in[Date Removed] The Monarch of Henderson. I had a very personal/emotionally releasing interview with Managing Facility Professionals of what I was in need of, to safe guard my then 90 year old mother with diagnosed Dementia/Alzheimer. Not a good fit for our needs

The room size was great, the facility was clean, the administration was very kind and helpful. The caregivers were caring but unable to give close attention. We hired someone to stay with him over night so that he would have one on one. The activities were mostly in the mornings which he had a hard time attending. The food was okay but not as healthy as we would have liked. The first day my dad was there he got lost and ended up in an empty apartment and was very confused thinking all his things were gone. Community very welcoming. All the staff seemed very kind. Activities for my mother is very important and they have them scheduled all day. The apartment we saw was very nice and roomy for her. Monarch has a lot to offer for the price. The new AmbA system to track her vitals and movement in her room will be great. Looking forward to mom living her.

Amazing Staff! Appreciation to the new management

I visit my friend and her dog on a regular basis. The rooms and open areas are nice and kept neat. The employees are friendly and helpful. Amazing Staff! Appreciation to the new management. The renovations are doing so well.

Gone Down Hill

Poets walk was acquired by Monarch. The techs left. The director left. I have seen one or two barely trained techs watching over 30 plus people. The place now smells. Cleaning seems irregular. Food has gone down hill. Sad. Seems money is what Monarch is all about. Results: people are leaving
