You want your parents here!

My mom (and seems like everyone else) are dissatisfied with the food. That would prob be main complaint. I'm sure they have to keep things bland for specialized diets but it would be nice to maybe have a choice of tastier food for those that don't have to have low salt etc. The "in house" Dr (NP) only comes once a month — she's good with getting back to me when my mom has medical issue (UTI etc). I use patient portal — Opti Mantra — but it just takes longer sometimes to get medical care quickly (non emergency of c

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier

We’re very pleased with the care she receives there — 5 stars. My mother-in-law occasionally complains about the food, but that’s really the only issue. The staff has been consistent, with very little turnover, which gives us confidence and peace of mind.

I highly recommend living at The Phoenix at Lake Lanier.

I'm very happy with both the staff and the team at The Phoenix at Lake Lanier. They have activities and family times arranged for the seniors. I highly recommend living at The Phoenix at Lake Lanier. I would give them a 6, they are number 1 in my opinion. I visited several places before choosing The Phoenix and from the minute I walked into the lobby, I felt the warmth of the employees and saw the seniors with smiles, then I knew that was the place I had been looking for.

Nice community

I can only share my view as family member, but I'd say most staff has been great but seems short staffed (understandable). Very clean, nice room. Surprised that they don't have low sodium or sugar options.

Room for improvements

New/Different Wellness Nurse who has experience with memory care (common sense, compassion, empathy, calm demeanor); more licensed professionals; computer system; lower tech to resident ratio; more frequent checks on residents staying in room, especially during evening/night shift. The Memory Care Director could not be more appropriate for her position. She welcomed info re' my spouse as did the Med Techs and provided genuine care for him. She is blooming where she is planted. A beautiful soul!!
