There are several things that standout. The staff make you feel welcome and include your loved one in all activities whether in AL or Memory Care. Kindness abounded in this facility the entire time my mother was at the Retreat. Encouraged family to have dinner with loved one. Would definitely recommend the Retreat!

PositiveGreat Rooms, Staff and Amenities.
They have all been very helpful and friendly and made her and us feel at home and cared about. Great. That was one of the reasons we picked it was she has two rooms vice one. The amenities are great also for what she wants. She likes that it isn't a very large place with way more people. She knows all the staff and she gets a lot of one on one attention.

CriticalThe Retreat at Canton review
[name removed] ended up leaving there after a couple weeks and being cared for at her home, but overall not the best experience. Hard to give a fair evaluation for such a short stay. However, she was not given the correct medications. I still can't figure out why. We like [name removed], the RN, very much and I know she spent a great deal of time on it. Ultimately it might have been KP and St Joe's records

Not thrilled with them, I've since realized it's all just big business, which really sucks. They have gotten my loved ones medications mixed up several times, my brother has had to really stay on top of things.

CriticalOur families experience
They could improve on staff they don't seem to have enough to keep up with everything. Staff isn't friendly and they complain about having to work so much. Rooms should be cleaned more often. They serve a lot of sandwiches instead of healthy meals. It just doesn't meet our expectations for the amount of money my sister spends there.
