CriticalProfits over care for loved ones and their family's.
This facility earns straight 1s except for the food. That's a 2. Terrible in upper management. The only concern is making a buck. We paid over [amount removed] to get her in, and she was only there for less than 2 months. They said they were a memory care facility. My mom was hospitalized, but when it was time for her release, they refused to take her back. We were then informed that they were not a memory care facility, and the administrator had been let go. I'm not sure how that was our fault, but they offered us…

At times my loved one would order off a menu but receive not what was asked for. I do wish they had a two week respite stay but our loved one enjoyed the activities. I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

I heard recently that Virginia Place might be closing... The facility is very homey, clean and all of the staff are friendly. I think they need a new food menu. A lot of the meat served is not chewable.

CriticalThink twice before a placing a loved one here.
I was told this was a forever home for my mom with memory care skilled nurses. 12 days in she fell in the hall and hit her head. She received several stitches. Upon her release they told the hospital that she cannot come back as they can't care for her anymore. So I scrambled to find another care facility. On top of that the refused to refund any of the [removed] payment. After days of explaining the situation they final agreed on a [removed] refund. I would NEVER recommend Virginia Place to anyone.
