I would definitely encourage anyone to check this place out

The staff here has always been friendly and very helpful. The grounds have to be seen particularly around the lake. Food is pretty good, but is also getting better due to new hires. I would definitely encourage anyone to check this place out

A good choice

My siblings and I have been very happy with my mom's move to Westminster Woods at Julington Creek. The staff made an effort to meet my mom and us, and they have been very receptive to our comments and take great effort to accommodate my mother's changing moods. The staff alert us to issues related to Mom's care and keep us informed about developing issues. The food is wonderful, and they work with each resident to help them remain able to feed themselves. The apartment is plenty big and accommodates Mom's treasures…

Review for Westminster Woods On Julington Creek a CCRC

The food is good, but truthfully, there's too much of it and probably too much waste as a result. I can't believe that these large portion sizes would be approved by a dietitian. Staff has been friendly, but I've not had a chance to check out any activities yet. Apartments are fine; I opted for a smaller size. I have not had housekeeping here yet. I don't know why they've not been yet.

Just What We Were Looking For

This is a lovely property with gorgeous grounds. I believe there isn't enough staff due to COVID. The family has to follow up on requests to make sure these are taken care of for our loved one. The grounds are secure for the residents to enjoy the outdoors. There is one meal day provided by the community and there were choices for the residents. There is a full kitchen in the apartment for the residents to utilize, and they had washers and dryers in the room. There is also a communal laundry area for the resident…

My wife and I moved here because everything was on one level, it was close to her family and they had a fitness center. She died shortly thereafter and I decided it was the place for me since it had all levels of care, a beautiful location, friendly employees and lots of entertainment. Over time I learned all was true and I was very lucky to be here. My sons live far away and they do not have to worry about me. Making friends is easy since we are all nearly the same age with common backgrounds. I am very fortunate …
