Would definitely recommend

I chose a five for each of the categories because I personally had a meeting with [name removed], the owner, and introduction to the employees and the facility and I was able to understand the activities the menus and everything was beyond my expectation. The value that dad received far exceeded what I paid for.

I'm gonna have to give them a five..! I literally have no complaints!! and again I'm gonna thank a place for mom.. for being extremely helpful! I literally tell people about you guys...that's how pleased I am!:)

The owner and the entire staff at Willowwood Assisted Living were incredibly kind and considerate and clearly enjoyed taking care of everyone. My father passed just after midnight and the night staff stayed with him in his passing hours, holding his hand and giving him comfort. I am so grateful. I strongly recommend anyone with a challenged loved one to speak with [name removed] and his staff, as I know you will learn what I am writing about here. They are Angels!

It feels like a home

The staff members at Willowood Assisted Living are so great and friendly and our loved one is really well taken care of. He always looks clean and is being fed really well. We have absolutely no complaints or see any red flags with this community. His favorite thing is sitting outside in the courtyard to enjoy the fresh air. I thought Willowwood was a great facility. It looked very clean and very modern. It seemed like it would be a really good place.

Can use some repairing & cleaning. Also more care and attention to hiring of people to care for loved ones.

My loved one experienced some animosity from a male worker. But I believe they got rid of that employee. I probably wouldn't refer anybody here. My loved one says the food is not that good. He is not eating a lot and has lost quite a bit of weight. There is not much going on - activities are nonexistent to maybe once a week. I really only see them watching TV. Bu the morning lady is excellent. I love her. And the one who takes care of him at night does pretty good by him as well.

Response from the community

Activities are offered daily but residents may choose not to participate. Offerings include arts and crafts, puzzles, board games, exercise, and music. An outside agency is scheduled weekly for physical therapy/exercise and musicians come in monthly. All food is cooked on site with groceries purchased fresh weekly. The menu is dietician designed for seniors at assisted living and is high in fruits, vegetables and protein. Snacks are provided mid morning and mid afternoon. Unfortunately some of the comments in this review are not reflective of the feedback we normally get. If someone tours the facility and would like to talk to other families about the care their loved ones receive, we are happy to give references to call.
