★★★★★
PositiveAdequate. Nothing stood out. I have a personally have an issue with odors in regards to retirement facilities. It smelled like an old folks home. This specific odor is depressing to me. Every one was nice and there appears to be plenty to do.
★★★★★
CriticalThe facility itself is I a great location and is good looking. Do a better job welcoming newcomers and getting to know residents.

CriticalCare services didn't apply my sister was in the independent side; constant change of staff; food was bad; the activities was a 5 until they couldn't seem to keep an activity person and they didn't pay the special people like watercolor class teacher, entertainment people;#8 too expensive based on the reasons above. I moved my sister in November to [community removed].
★★★★★
PositiveProblem was the beginning of no house keeping, food was getting lesser and later. Salad bar was going away and not enough in it. Meals delayed, no activity assistance. But they had a lot of activities. They're bus works only take you to East side Dr appts and had to be on their time. Reconstruction made things difficult and understandable.. but staffing was quitting by the droves and were unhappy.. the place was bigger and more open and airy. Grounds were starting to look very shabby.
★★★★★
CriticalMy loved ones aren't happy there. But I didn't think they would be, they want to be in their house. But they don't have to (have us) shop or fix food. It's not real friendly, but that's more the treats l residents. It's cost to medical appts, yet they're so far not willing to use the van. They haven't involved thanks in any social activities. It's independent living, so NO CARE. Staff friendly yet at times food service is a bit overwhelmed. My loved one complains of the food, yet they complained at their homes even…

CriticalOur family had an in person tour with Aspen Ridge Retirement Residence and overall from everything we saw on the tour we thought the experience was good, but at the end of the day would not be the best fit for our loved one.
