CriticalPoor communication- some staff didn't know my Mom had fallen days before and to be careful with her until she heals, were inconsistent with administering medications, most staff was kind, was supposed to receive a shower 2 times a week. That didn't happen for an 8 week period of time. Food took a long time to get to the table after ordering, food served was almost always different than what was on the menu, front desk staff was helpful and friendly, plan of care was not what was being given-example-"receive assista…

PositiveWe were looking for our mother who needs a good bit of assistance. Everyone at Dunwoody Place was very welcoming and helpful during the initial process. The place itself feels more like a home than some others we toured. The food is very good. The residents seem happy. That being said, within a month of move-in, the nurse and sales director both left. Almost a month later, they are still looking for a new nurse. CriticalThey don't do what they are supposed to do. They do not remove the trash or make the beds as promised. The house cleaning 1x a week is almost nonexistent unless I complain and they don't change his sheets unless I remind them too. The activities are also almost nonexistent and no one goes to the few they have. They don't listen to what the residents want to do and they don't try to get him involved However everyone there is extremely nice. But lazy.

PositiveI'd give a 5 on each scale. It's been a very positive experience and a good decision They've been easy to work with ... facility is clean, very clean. All the personal aids have been aware of patients safety, are positive and respectful with them. There seem to be an Array of activities which has kept our cousin engaged. In general most of the residents seem to be happy even though it's a difficult time in life.
★★★★★
PositiveThe clinical support team is very dedicated and really enjoy the residents. Administrative staff is responsive with any issues presented. Housekeeping and laundry is top notch. Finally, a lot of residents are active with the outings and activities and enjoy them.

PositiveOur cousin has been there 6 weeks and the change has been dramatic. Prior 3 months she refused to get dressed, refused PT and had little interaction with others. Today she is participating in group activities, attends dining room for meals 3 x’s a day, and has become concerned about taking care of physical appearance. She is now able to help with transitions from wheelchair and we look forward to her strength continuing to improve. They have provided amazing care, attention and respect. Very happy with decision to …
