Since Sunrise became Glen Crest, I'm not convinced the change has been for the better. During the transition and change in ownership, many of the long-term staff left for various reasons. The menu became less creative, and the level of responsiveness to residents' and families' immediate needs noticeably declined. The whole place had beautiful open spaces for residents. Every staff member I met was remarkably friendly and upbeat. The place felt secure but not boxed in. The outside spaces and gardens were lovely. The place was spotlessly clean.

Our family's experience

What the salesperson presented and what we found were 2 different things. Difficulty in administration addressing our concerns with vegetarian + fish diet. 30 min response time twice once using emergency pull at night. No one on desk after 8. Food portions small. Didn't receive emergency pendent for days upon arrival.

Off to a good start

Nobody is perfect. But sunrise. Buckhead is as good as I can imagine any place being honestly. The people are friendly and helpful. They have gotten to know my dad pretty quickly and treat him with respect. The facilities are always immaculate and the food is exceptional!

It's a very fun vibe at Sunrise of Buckhead. A positive group of people live and work there.

friendly and kind

They have great and caring staff; high level of care. Easy to get a hold of and work thru issues. Challenges are weekend and holiday staff may not be as attentive but leadership is always responsive. Was unaware of significant annual increases. Otherwise, overall pleased.
