Mom went to Memory Care and the unit was nice. Unfortunately Mom wasn't healthy enough to do much but they definitely tried to get her involved. We had a few hiccups with moving her in and billing. Location is great

Wonderful experience overall. Donna was great! All the staff were pleasant. The building was very well maintained and residence very willing to speak on their good experiences at Benchmark.

It seems a beautiful, clean environment. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I didn't see many residents but those I saw seem to be active and engaged (they were drumming). It's beyond our budget, but based on that tour, I would have loved to have my mother there.

What we like the most abut the community is that The Day to day staff was outstanding. They were accommodating to my dad. Yes, we would recommend Benchmark at Alexandria to other families based on the experience

The bottom line is that we would not recommend Benchmark at Alexandria except for someone who really doesn't need much assistance. (In which case there's a question of whether such a person needs "assisted living" at all.) We have received some recommendations (from people who know) for places to switch to, which we will be checking out. . For my mother in law's specific situation, I'd call it a 2. Modern, helpfulness of staff to ensure a success transition that fit our budget constraints and desire to ensure our success. Great food, the gifting of a cranberry loaf had my neighbor staying signup. 100% closeness in proximity relieved substantial stress. Church members have already visited, ease of form submissions and tools online. I like the room that they have available to reserve for family events.
