PositiveThe facility was immaculate, light and airy. The residents were cheerful and friendly. [Name Removed] was a gracious host. It struck me that all the residents and employees greeted her. [Name Removed] took time on a Sunday afternoon to show the facility of which she is very proud. The dining room was spacious and welcoming.

CriticalA more focused "buddy" system would help. Having a resident show my brother around the first few days was helpful, but more encouragement to try out activities or use the bus for shopping might have lessened his isolation. They may have tried, but his first inclination is to refuse. He did respond if someone needed help. He is now moving to Memory Care and I hope he will be able to adjust to that situation and that the promised activities will take place.
Response from the communityWe take your comments seriously and are committed to providing quality care and services to our residents. We would welcome an opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have and hope you will contact our management team to discuss further.

PositiveMy Dad is happy and healthy and enjoys himself. I could not be more satisfied.

CriticalOur host, [name removed], was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Brookdale appears to be the priciest of the senior independent living facilities we have visited. Priciest while offering the least desirable dining options. The location is, however, the best among the choices.
Response from the communityThank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Your feedback will be shared with management.
