Although the caretaker staff has been stable, I expressed concerns on Monday that I have noticed movement on the management team since my Mom moved in [Date Remount] of last year. Executive Director, Office Coordinator, Medical Director and now Medical Assistant have moved on. I made a point of letting them know I'm watching the movement

CriticalMy mother has been here for 14 months. Food is average to below average, cold and low quality. Staff is hit or miss, some good workers and also some terrible workers. Workers complain a lot. Not many activities older people would like want. I wouldn’t recommend.

It was close to family and they initially indicated that they would be able to effectively care for my grandmother. However that did turn out to be the case. They weren't completely forthcoming. I would not recommend them to anyone else!

PositiveMy family had a good experience with Brookdale Ray Road. They found a room for my Dad and prepared it for his arrival. Unfortunately my dad's condition deteriorated and we had to cancel our plans. We had paid the move in cost and one month rent and we're not expecting a refund. But Brookdale refunded a majority of what we paid without any effort. I think they were fair and we're nice to work with.

PositivePeaceful with a kind and caring staff
Overall experience: 5 - For what my Mother needed at that time, it was perfect for her. We learned that she could use more independence and moved her elsewhere. Friendliness of staff: 4 - most very helpful and communicative. Meals/dining: 3. Food is ok, seating arrangement approach not great for mixing. Activities: 4 - some are juvenile but good overall and well-intentioned to span the needs of all. Value for cost: it is competitive for low touch needs, not sure about add on a la cart care needs
