CriticalOverall experience is not great. They had told me that they had many activities which they do not. They have almost no activities at all. My loved one has very little to do there. She is starting to get depressed. They did not have hot water for a total of I believe five days it came on during the evening, but not during the day she could not shower as she showers in the morning, not in the evenings she had to come to my house to shower with no explanation, except they can't figure it out. CriticalBrookdale is a nice place for the right people. As a paraplegic with the need for 2 people to transfer me it was not a good choice for me. I discussed this with the facility administrator. He didn't listen to a word I said and only provided rebuttal to my comments. For this reason Brookdale was a 1 for me and I am moving out.

CriticalThey call once a month for any comments. That's very helpful. My mom likes that it's all on ground floor and when her dog was alive she had her own little patio

PositiveSo far the staff has been wonderful and responsive to my Aunts needs. The place is very well maintained & clean. It is hard to determine how things are going because I live out of state. My Aunt isn’t great at articulating things going on due to her Dementia. It took a little while to get in contact with nursing staff to ask for feedback or express my concerns but I understand there are many people they tend to. With that said my overall experience has been pretty positive.
