PositiveI'd say 5 stars -dad was there only 10 days on hospice so while he could not participate in activities at all and couldn't go to the cafe but the staff were kind and attentive. One staff person gave him a valentine gift the day before he died. Food was great, it as not a complicated process to be admitted or discharged. I'd definitely send another family member there.

PositiveStaff is very attentive, knowledgeable, supportive, and friendly. Great in keeping me informed if mom experiences an irregularity in her routine. Lots of activities for residents and guests always encouraged to join. Mom favorite dessert is ice cream and that is not served often enough even when on the menu for day. Director sends out a monthly newsletter which is very informative on upcoming activities as well pictures from prior activities.

PositiveIt's gotten better with the new administration. Prior to that the scores would have been lower. The phone situation at the end of December and early January was totally mishandled! Families could not get in touch with their loved ones. It really didn't feel like the was any urgency to get this situation resolved.

PositiveThese things stuck out over other places. Location close to us. Quality of the rooms. Prices fluctuate with different levels of care needed. Prices were more affordable compared to other facilities. Nursing staff report being generally happy with their job and with the facility, even though they are understaffed. Responsiveness by a few administrative staff has been inconsistent. They have recently been in a transition phase. Breakfast trays are, on occasion, cold when they should be warmed.
