PositiveI toured this facility with [name removed] and then my mom had her tour. We were both very impressed with the friendliness of both staff and residents. They have so many activities to keep my mom busy every day. She will be moving in next week and my brother's and I look forward to her meeting new friends and being very happy in her new apartment.

PositiveHammond Glen is a beautiful community with very attractive apartments & a full calendar of in-house events from movies to concerts & Executive Chef prepared meals. Even wine Hastings & a soda fountain with jukebox. I am excited about making it may new home!

CriticalIt saddens me to write this review. Just moved after a three-year stay. A place for mom referred me. I could not stand the roaches any longer. The dining experience was terrible. There are many healthy, ever changing options for food. For activities, I would give this a 10 if I could. We're not real happy about rent going up yearly, my Mother's budget is static and we based our decision to come here mostly on cost.
★★★★★
PositiveI don't require any specific care - it's a retirement community but there are a small # of residents that use assisted living & some that have helpers but that may be 1/4 or less of the total residents. They have a lot of activities & fun & interesting events. The pricing is reasonable. Some apartments have been renovated. The building is old but the location is beautiful with outdoor patios both in front & back sides. The biggest attraction are the residents. There are a lot of really nice, friendly people here. …
