The good: The facility was clean, newer, and in a good location. The bad: It was very understaffed—staff were rarely visible in memory care during my visits. My father disliked the food, and items frequently went missing.

Corporate Priorities Seem to Override Personalized Care

Their biggest struggle is being bought out by another corporation as soon as she moved in over there. There is massive staff turnover which translates into no consistency and misinformation among new employees. Leadership is OK but not responsive. Standard of care is met appropriately but nothing over and above to mention. The meal plan and menu items started out great but as soon as it's sold to another company, the quality diminished substantially and now it seems they cannot afford to keep portions appropriate, …

They needed more help in memory care . Not enough aides for the amount of people with memory problems. They need to have activities that more memory care patients would be interested in participating . They could do more with music participation or have someone come in and play music that they could clap or sing along.
