Our experience

My overall experience with The Colonnade has been a 5-star experience all around. The staff and community have been wonderful, and we have been very pleased with the care and support provided. The VA paperwork process took over 45 days to be returned, which caused some stress and challenges, but that was outside of The Colonnade’s control. Overall, we are very grateful for the positive experience we’ve had.

I thought it was a great experience overall. I think that it would be helpful for the facilities to offer new residents the same type of tour and introduction they do with families that are searching for senior living. Once my mother moved in, we had lots of questions about logistical stuff. I felt bad always reaching out to the executive director but she was the only person whose contact information I had. First the people are so friendly, warm and knowledgeable. They are great to work with in providing information and guidance on how they can help their patients. They are caring people. That is so comforting for me knowing my mother is in good hands, 24/7. The facility is bright, clean and is designed to allow their residents to interact in common areas creating a true community feel which my mother will love!

Friendly staff

The staff seems super friendly and helpful. With any changeover, there is always going to be a few hiccups. Room size is nice. Not too small. Food choices seem to be good. It's my dad who's is there and he hasn't complained.

Our family's experience

The food was good and the dining experience was great. The staff takes the time to encourage each resident to eat. I would highly recommend them. Our family's experience was supportive and encouraging. The staff was always available to answer questions. When my brother passed, some of the staff attended his service.

[Name Removed] gave a great tour. Loved the layout of the facility and the apartments were very nice. It seemed like they took great care to learn about their residents to make them feel special.
