CriticalDo your homework - can become very, very expensive
I am very surprised by the recent 5 star reviews and wanted to share my experience with a family member who lived there for numerous years. * Rent increased about 10% each year * Everything is extra $ and I mean everything. Just make sure to ask for their rate sheet; * Food - the basics are included - hamburgers, hotdogs and fried stuff, but if you want anything other than that it is EXTRA $. Ask to review a few of their menus. * Cleanliness - should be more called a dusting; nothing is picked up or moved or sc…

We moved Mom out about a year ago. I'm not in the loop any longer. We were in the independent side so I would say the Activities team was great. Apartments were a nice size. We had a studio but it was perfect for one person in a wheelchair

Please review First Colonial Inns violations online. My father stayed here and was grossly mistreated, misdiagosed, and getting his meds administered was a struggle every day. They are understaffed always and it’s mind boggling how they are able to continue operating. Don’t waste your money. Keep looking. First Colonial is beyond awful.

CriticalVery disappointing experience.
Not receiving the care that was promised. Getting my father out as soon as I can before wasting more money. No nursing help, medicines missed, they don't know where residents are and skip medicines, faabs broken, nurses with attitudes. No help with patient portal, computers always down, etc etc. Don't be fooled.
