Life in an independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care facility.

Since I have lived here for 9 months things have been outstanding for me. I would recommend it for an individual who is semi mobile and can mentally live independent. The housekeepers, food service workers, front desk workers. The main management has experienced a change at the high end and it is to provide an opinion.

I can tell you right now, I rate your facility a 5 in every area. The staff is excellent. Best we have ever seen. They all specialize in dementia so they have so much empathy for everyone

Review for Inspira Gateway by Cogir

Good looking modern facility. It is well maintained, but has the same issues as a long term hotel. Some things break and it take a few days for repairs to be accomplished. The staff is very friendly and learn you first name very quickly and almost always addresses you by that. The food is great if you have an experienced and varied palate. There are several activities available for the residents. Overall I recommend anyone looking for long-term multi-layered care should put it on their list to visit before they set…

Inspira Gateway by Cogir review

Like most Memory Care places, Inspira Gateway has a lot of staff turn over. So it lacks "consistency of care" for their residents. Some of the items in the "Daily Care Plan" do NOT get done! They want to have ALL residents on the SAME meds for constipation and diarrhea; thus ignoring "Patient Centered Care." Having said that, there are a FEW staff members who are good about being kind, personable, and thorough...

Head nurse was caustic. Too many sandwiches served along with many caloric cheap meals. Way too much money for care. I would not recommend them to others.

Best decision we could have made

I would rate them all 5. It is a great community. Best decision we've made! Food is great. Not institutional at all. They really take good care of the property. Not like a "old folks home" at all. I'm only familiar with Moms apartment but it's good sized, not cramped. As with any place you can be as involved as you want. Lots of fun things to do.
