In the state of Arizona, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Center A health care institution other than a hospital or a nursing care institution which provides resident rooms or residential units, supervisory care services, personal care service, directed care services or health-related services on a continuing basis for eleven or more persons who do not need inpatient nursing care. Directed Care Services Programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need, or making basic care decisions. CriticalThis facility did not understand or solve my mother's memory care issues
BANNER Desert Sam Hospital could not understand or diagnose my mother's memory care "issues" ... so they transferred her to the current INSPIRATIONS facility. Mom kept getting worse, instead of improving. She had a room near the northwest corner exit, and twice walked out the nearby door and set off the alarms. She wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed. So we finally had two hospice nurses visit mom ... and they diagnosed her quickly and set up a treatment plan that was starting to work. But it was too late…

Overall, I give Inspirations of Tempe a 3. It is a clean, lovely place and the staff is nice. I haven't eaten there but they have a beautiful dining room. I am impressed with all the fun activities they offer. There is room for improvement in communication between staff and family, and staff and resident. There is also a need for consistency. PositiveFinding the right place.
Inspirations of Tempe is truly a first class facility from the warm welcome of the staff to the programs they have going on the dining experience the activities although I've only been a part of this institution for a couple of months. I really have nothing poorly to say about them, everyone is friendly and top-notch truly worth a visit if you're looking for a long-term care for your loved one.

Criticalwork in progress
Sorry, but we have not had a great experience so far. The food is a negative 5. It is very poor. Not nutritious, and not enough. My Mom has been there and they have had 3 "wellness directors". They have a difficult time with enough staffing also. This is concerning.
