Staff were friendly and nice and activities were good. Cleanliness of my mom's shared bathroom was not great and facility in the residents' hallway often smelled like urine and feces.

Truly genuine staff that care about Dad

I feel that the staff really cares about my dad. The staff always seems very helpful and happy to be of help. I know dad is safe at Mt. Pleasant Gardens! I also love to see the frequent activities and interactions staff have with residents. For me, that was the most important thing I was looking for in a home for dad.

My family's experience, would recommend

When it comes to the meals, the food should be a lot better and the quality of the staffing has been an issues. However, the nurses and management team at Mount Pleasant Gardens are great.

Disappointing experience

My dad was diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia 3 years ago. We wanted to keep him home as long as we could, but eventually, we couldn’t manage him at home. We spent months visiting facilities to determine which would provide the best care from him. We chose Mount Pleasant Gardens, because we were sold on a family feel and quality care. Pleasant Surprise- Mount Pleasant Gardens

When I was looking around for a place two years ago, this was the cleanest one that I came across. It is still clean and organized. The staff keeps me well informed of happenings and/or issues. They use flyers, emails, texts, phone calls, in person. I have not received a carrier pigeon or smoke signal yet from them. The majority of the staff is very friendly and polite. Outstanding memory care

The facility is the most caring and well run place. My loved one has since passed but it was hands down the place my siblings and loved having her there. I would recommend to others, their approach to memory care is fantastic.
