More active at Mt Bachelor

My mother is able to be more active at Mount Bachelor than at her previous facility. The staff has learned several strategies for getting her to cooperate and choose to focus their efforts on keeping her safe and clean.

Hoping changes will be helpful.

The new management has been hard during Dad's hospital stay. Things are looking better. I would not recommend Mt. Bachelor for memory care. OI do think that it is ok for a senior living, but extra care is hit and miss. Hopefully the new management can hire more English speaking help.

Not recommended

I was disappointed as to how Mt Bachelor operated. One thing, the staff were very caring and tried their best. Hard to do when you're short staffed. They had 1 RN for over 100 tenants. In fact, in the length of 7 months while my parents lived there, Mt. Bachelor went through 2 nurses. Plus an Executive Director. I hadn't realized that Mom was right that the meals were just okay. Mom had a stroke on August 6th, and passed away on August 16th. I was there every single day for 7-8 hours, and the meals brought in for m

Mt. Bachelor Review

We had difficulties getting the staff in the annex to keep us informed when ever mom fell, wasn't eating, etc. She was malnourished and they didn't seem to think that was an issue. there was also a problem with "resident shopping" (what the staff called it) to the disappearance of personal items. I would recommend them still, but the family members will need to stay on top of things and be very proud active with the staff.

I love MBMC

I have been involved with MBMC for close to a year and I truly appreciate the staff and love the residents. I feel I am always greeted with smiling faces, a clean environment, and residents who are happy and engaged. The activities and outings that they do are so much fun and so creative.

Great Place!

My Nana had lived here for a few years and she was exceptionally well taken care of. The care staff are very caring and their compassion shows through their work. My nana struggled with some behaviors during her dementia journey but the Mt Bachelor team seemed very knowledgeable about how to redirect her and creating interventions. Would definitely recommend
