Rising Star Personal Care Home is a new beautifully renovated personal care home located in Stone Mountain GA. The Rising Star team had a vision to develop a NEW personal care home, in which the values, ethics and healthy living conditions of the population in which we serve are constantly enforced. The name Rising star was brought into light when we felt that every resident of ours is a STAR!. As a star we would dedicate ourselves in making sure they are taken care of and re-introduced into a loving home in which they can be themselves and RISE in happiness than the day before. We offer finer, cleaner and a healthier atmosphere for our residents. We pride ourselves to have an environment where our residents can feel at home and important. Luxury living in a Five Star Atmosphere is not only our motto but taken extremely serious at Rising Star. We strive to exceed in the care we provide to our residents and their overall happiness. At Rising Star, we believe if a resident can truly enjoy their golden years as if they were young, then we have achieved our goal. We like and encourage our residents to have fun and introduce them to a wide selection of activities that can stimulate their mind and body.

Please beware of this PC home. The things the manager tells you on the tours is a lot of lies. The food is disgusting, rooms dirty, staff poor experience they don’t look after the residents. My mother was in good health but has Alzheimer’s. One hospice staff found sleeping in my mom’s room with her in it and her roommate. Med tech inexperienced with enduring mom’s meds and not crushing. Staff not assisting with eating during the last few weeks. Mom passed after being there 1 month & 1 week. I was with my mom on a …

Positivea perfect place to keep dignity and joy
The rising star nursing home addresses all the needs and takes away the stress of relocating your loved one they give motivational classes of exercise and most of all their pet friendly. That’s not forget the joy we get from our pets visiting us. I found it to be clean with delicious meals, but most of all the dignity and the joy in this private place was most appropriate the things that they offer other places have forgotten.

The food at this community is good, it is not always what he likes so that is not their fault. He can't really participate in the activities because he is mostly bed ridden, but he does have some activities he can do. They do make an effort to have more food choices for him. Overall a positive experience.
