The Bungalows at Springfield East is a lovely single-story brick home featuring wonderful senior living accommodations. Springfield is a vibrant city in southwestern Missouri with a number of attractions, including trails, botanical gardens, Dickerson Park Zoo, and the cave exploration site Fantastic Caverns. Tucked into a grassy residential area, The Bungalows enjoys convenient proximity to medical centers, shopping, and dining. Residents can choose from a variety of private and semi-private suites, each with a bathroom and walk-in shower. Some apartments have the additional options of a full kitchen, private patio, or large bay windows. The community’s professional and compassionate care staff are available to offer individualized support in the privacy of residents’ apartments. Residents can receive support with activities of daily living, incontinence care, ambulatory assistance, medication management, and more. The home offers 24-hour skilled nursing, and physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Residents of the community enjoy worry-free retirement living, with meals prepared daily by the home’s executive chef, as well as daily housekeeping, personal laundry and linen services, and complimentary transportation for community outings. Residents can receive daily wellness checks, be pampered in the full-service salon, and participate in weekly non-denominational church services. They are a very active community. Lots of opportunities of different varieties to get out and interact with others in the community. They are also very willing to schedule something tailored to a specific resident so they can share their interests with the group. The staff is attentive and genuinely caring to the residents.

What stood out... The staff is friendly, seems to know and keep up with residents. Everyone is wiling to help and provide information. PositiveReview for The Bungalows at Springfield East
The experience has been mostly wonderful. My family member has an efficiency apartment (not sure what the bungalows calls it), which is a 19x19 foot room with a large walk-in closet (with shelves and hanging space) and a good sized bathroom (with a shower that has a built-in seat.). The room also has a mini refrigerator and a microwave, as well as an individual heating/cooling unit (like in some hotels). They provide cable, but you provide your own TV. They clean his room and do his laundry once a week. Each resi…
