The assisted living and Alzheimer's care community is not far from the 'downtown' area, also known as 'Old Newnan' where you will find beautifully preserved historical buildings, churches, shopping, restaurants and lots of true southern hospitality. Newnan is often described as a city with small-town charm, historic character, beautiful homes and friendly people. Newnan is 40 miles southwest of Atlanta, off of I-85 in Coweta County. Insignia of Newnan is an elegant yet comfortable and affordable assisted living full of many wonderful residents. Pulling into Insignia's driveway, you are drawn to the incredible rocking chair front porch, stretching the length of the community and lined with ferns and seasonal color. As you enter the residence, the comfortable living room is most inviting! There is a sense of warmth amongst the selected furnishings, piano and charming fireplace. The assisted living residence was decorated to reflect the true southern feel of Newnan, including many art selections from local artists and our very own residents. The ambiance is warm and hospitable with many areas for residents, guests and families to enjoy. There are numerous scheduled activities daily, designed to engage each and every resident. The possibilities are endless at Insignia as there is something for everyone to enjoy. Join a morning exercise class, compete in a game of bridge or bingo, or enjoy a cup of sweet tea or coffee on the front porch. A favorite to residents is sitting around the piano while some of our entrainers play a few old-time favorites. The main dining room offers three meals per day in a relaxed restaurant-style setting. Residents are served breakfast, lunch and dinner while socializing with friends. There is also a cozy private dining area for birthday parties or family gatherings.
