The overall experience at the Oaks has been good. The staff have been attentive and responsive to Mom's needs. As she has been ill, staff have been bringing meals to Mom's room. She seems to be enjoying most of the prepared meals and there are several choices for each of the three meals served daily. The residents are kind and welcoming and there are many daily activities. Mom has housekeeping service weekly. Her bed is remade with clean linens and clean towels are placed in the bathroom. She has a studio apartmen…

I was a resident. I found management minimally responsive to questions. I found the food had a strange after taste that made me ill. Items when I signed lease were changed such as room move fee from $[Amounts removed]& bedridden residents to receive meals after dining room closed & food served was leftovers with a fee per meal for delivery. Fire alarm went off at least 4 times lasting at least 5 minutes with no explanation from management. Room A/C registers barely worked with moldy smell. Humidity in apartment at …
